Mr. Ingle, the main accused, is Sarpanch and the victim is Up-Sarpanch (deputy head) of the same Gram Panchayat. Six other members of Gram Panchayat including the victim proposed “no confidence motion” against Sarpanch due to alleged corruption charges and was due for voting on 13/07/2020. But the day before that, on 12/07/20 at evening around 7.30 pm, the accused forced the victim to accompany him in his car. After taking him to Chikhaldar Post (area in Achalpur) with help of Mr Pritesh Avghad and others he threatened the victim. They warned him to kill if he attended the “no confidence motion” and showed him a knife for the same.
In the same car they went to another place and while going beat him with kicks and punches. He was bleeding but was not given medical treatment. The whole night they kept on driving him in the car. After assuring that procedure for “no confidence motion” is over, they forced him to write on stamp paper of Rs. 100 that was absent on his own will and did not participate in “no confidence motion” on his own will. After all this they dropped him home and warned to kill the whole family if he dares to complain against the whole incidence.
